The powers of 10
After watching the video “the powers of 10” my whole perspective of life has changed. Sometimes, we are so concentrated in ourselves, that we do not see the wonderful things around us. My every day routine does not give me any time to stop and look around. When facts like I am just a minuscule part of this huge universe hit me, is when I step out of my thoughts to look around and see things from another perspective. If I look my life from a microscope, I can see, for example, that my problems are not bigger than the person walking next to me. On the other hand, if I look at myself from a telescope, I realize that I am just another creature of the universe, a creature as insignificant as an ant appears to an elephant referring to sizes. Some questions that this video left in my mind are:
· How come, human beings are so little in comparison to the rest of the universe even though we have done so many discoveries?
· What are the differences between races when we all belong to the same universe?
· What is the real meaning of life?
