Questions about "Powers of 10"

"Powers 0f 10", a video which involves time (every two seconds) to go from a meter feet in Chicago, explores the universe using speed from one to 100 million light years, distance from 1 meter (ten to the zero power) to 1,000 million million million meters, and after coming back to the universe, introduces in the skin where explores cells, collagen, nucleus, DNA, electric forces, protons, neutrons, and molecules, among others. It must have been done using powerful scientific machines. In order to introduce it in the skin, the video uses meters, centimeters, millimeters, microns, and angstroms from 10 to the Minos 10 to 10 to the Minos 16.

Questions.

1 What was the autor's intention when he wrote about it?
2 What kind of audience woud be interested in watching that video?
3 Was the author drunk?
4 How much money did he problably earned for doing that?
5 Although the video is artistic, how can we use it?

I think, the video summarizes the evolution of scientific tasks that would have taken decades without modern machines and appliances. The way the video was made makes us travel in the space and at the and we can not come with definite conclusions. Probably after making that video the author had to visit his psychiatrist.

When watching the video, I had the sensation that I was going to heaven and in my way, I was learning about the positions of the moon and the rotations of the earth. Astronauts probably would have been the audience selected for the author's purpose. In my case, my imagination is unable to conceive such transportation from earth.

Why did This Chicken Cross the Road?

You probable do not know that you think according to you live. I took this picture in Little Haiti, Miami and thought that some of the following thoughts might come up to this chicken because of the environment.

There is no green carpets here and my toes feel like burning!

Is this another planet?

Where are my friends? There are no girls hens!

I am hungry. There is no water or food at all!

There is no shelter. Where am I going to sleep tonight?

There are no blankets and it is cold in Miami

What is that thing that is right in front of me?

Nothing moves in here. Am I the only living being here?

How to come back home?

I miss my children

Although it is a beautiful day, I do not like this environment

Am I going to die here?

Is this a permanent situation?

Is this a huge problem? or just a nightmare?

Who is going to hear my voice in the morning?

Who governs here? Am I the king here? Who am I going to govern?

Can I do whatever I want? but what?

Should I go? Where?

Should I wait here?

Nobody provided me any education to survive here before!

Is it any law which protect me in this problem?

Is this loneliness the result of a natural disaster?

What happened here before?

Is somebody looking at me from a satellite?

Is God aware of this problem I have?

Should I commit suicide?

When I saw these plants I was walking around the block while my brother was riding his bike. It caught my attention because is not only one plant but three in the same spot.`

Essay # 2

On this first photo above I have taken it when I was waiting for my mom to pick me up at the hospital, because the reason was that I was having a facial done. While I was reading the book called The Three Cups of Tea is when I saw this little bird trying to get something to eat.


With this second picture this is a tree that has been in front of my house. For the the longest time that I could remember since I was four years old and this tree had survived since 1992.

The powers of 10
After watching the video “the powers of 10” my whole perspective of life has changed. Sometimes, we are so concentrated in ourselves, that we do not see the wonderful things around us. My every day routine does not give me any time to stop and look around. When facts like I am just a minuscule part of this huge universe hit me, is when I step out of my thoughts to look around and see things from another perspective. If I look my life from a microscope, I can see, for example, that my problems are not bigger than the person walking next to me. On the other hand, if I look at myself from a telescope, I realize that I am just another creature of the universe, a creature as insignificant as an ant appears to an elephant referring to sizes. Some questions that this video left in my mind are:
· How come, human beings are so little in comparison to the rest of the universe even though we have done so many discoveries?
· What are the differences between races when we all belong to the same universe?
· What is the real meaning of life?

Powers of 10

When I saw that the video of was containing the power of 10 this is what I realized while I was watching this video for the reason for the video is that I think that I would be able to actually find away to think something small and go big and then do something small and then looking within. You can find connections of any kind because there can be the science the fact that things can move. Like for example, when you want to look at a tree that there can be a connection. When you are zooming out you can tell that after a certain amount you won’t be able to see yourself. When you are actually going within you, you can tell that there is a possibility that you will see like a mirror like if an animal seeing them on a mirror so that the animals will know that it is them just seeing an image of themselves. In a way of thinking that if you are taking a picture is that you will be taking a picture of yourself. Another way you can find out is that you will find something that you really like and want to get somewhere.

1. Your mind can wonder in different directions?
2. Anything can be good or bad?
3. You don't really need to proofread your work when figuring something out?
4. Will you be able to actually find a way and do a kind of brainstorming?

Cookies

Well on February 9th I did sell two cookies for a $1.00 each. For the Nicaragua Awareness it was kind of fun since the group that will go to Nicaragua so that group can actually make a house and school. I have been able to give time to the Nicaragua Awareness by baking things to raise money for the Nicaragua Awareness.
